When he isn’t flying around the country advising corporations and independent business owners on business strategy and marketing, David is an avid rancher who raises Registered Texas Longhorn Cattle. That’s one of the luxuries of being one who truly understands the business of branding.

A sought-out speaker who has owned, operated and managed a number of retail businesses, David shoots straight and shares business and marketing advice to companies of all sizes that seek to maximize their growth potential.

Recognizing that today’s hyper-competition forces many into the dangerous trap of commoditization, he focuses on brand-based strategies, a comprehensive methodology that raises the company’s value proposition, increases sales and, most importantly, maximizes profitability.

Upon launching his consulting career, David served as Managing Partner for Wizard of Ads, an international marketing consulting firm. Prior to that, David learned the rewards and challenges of retailing as founder and CEO of Stanley & Weaver, Inc., one of Texas’ largest volume fine jewelers. His 26 years of real-life management and marketing problem solving has also included management positions with two national corporations and a highly respected regional corporation.

A graduate of Baylor University School of Business, he earned concentrations in both marketing and entrepreneurship.

While down-to-earth, David is as comfortable in the boardroom as he is in the saddle. As a rancher he knows how to separate the real deal from the BS.
